Work Uniform

I have to say, my new job is pretty awesome.

I mean, we have staple gun wars. Music is constantly playing. I can basically come and go whenever I'd like, and I'm learning some pretty cool new skills. I work at the BYU Upholstery shop, which takes care of all the furniture and curtains and anything involving fabric for BYU campus. Mostly, i spend my time sewing stuff, but I've also gotten to work on lots of other projects. This past week, we've been reupholstering chairs for the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. Pretty cool, right?

The only downside of the job is that I've had to change the way I dress, kind of dramatically. It's definitely a jeans and t-shirt kind of shop, and I'm not really a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, I'm more of a cute blouse and skirt kind of girl. Not that I don't like wearing jeans and t-shirts, it's just that I definitely don't wear them every day.  So after about a week on my new job, I was getting bored. I tried wearing more of my normal clothes, but they're really not practical for the kind of work I'm doing.

So I've resigned myself to my t-shirt and jeans. But I'm learning that it's really not so bad. I might like this more casual version of myself.

Do you have any styling tips for casual looks?
