Five Go To Spring Outfits

I don't know about you, but I am so excited for spring! I know it's barely the first week in March, and it will probably be another month before we start getting warmer weather, but I'm just really excited about all the great things that spring means. I'm especially excited to put away my big coats and chunky sweaters, and start wearing my cute tops and skirts again. So today I thought I'd share five go to outfits for some of my favorite spring occasions.

Casual Saturday

Shirt: Thrift store
Overalls: Old Navy
Shoes; Old Navy

In my mind, overalls just fit so well with the whole feeling of spring. Just putting them on makes me want to go outside and plant flowers or something. Or start some new DIY for our house. No matter what the agenda is, this is an easy, versatile outfit that's perfect for any Saturday.

 A Rainy Day

Shirt: Thrift store
Raincoat: Burlington Coat Factory
Jeans: Aeropostale
Shoes: Old Navy

Rainy days can be so grey and boring that I feel like it's pretty much essential to have a brightly colored rain coat. When the weather is bad and you have to be out in it, it can be so easy to be put in a bad mood. But who could be in a bad mood when she looks like Little Red Riding Hood?

Easter Sunday

Dress: Downeast
Shoes: Old Navy

Blushed nudes seem to be the colors of choice for this spring, and this dress is the perfect example. It's such a pretty light color, and the lace gives it enough texture to make it interesting. It's a great simple look for Easter.

Spring Break

Shirt: Downeast
Skirt: Thrift store
Hat: Forever 21

Whether Spring Break means going somewhere exciting, staying around town, or just daydreaming about the days you used to have spring break, this is a fun, colorful outfit for the occasion. Bright colored clothes always make me feel happier and more festive.

Last Day of School

Shirt: Rue 21
Jeans: Forever 21
Shoes: Old Navy

The last day of school is always so exciting and laid back, so I felt like a sporty top was an appropriate choice. It's perfect for saying goodbye to everyone at school and then going out and doing something fun.
