March Favorites

March was a fun month. Josh and I were able to spend lots of time with our families, and we rearranged our house a little bit. Luckily I have a husband that will indulge me when I get bored with furniture arrangements. I'm planning to do a post about our apartment a little later this month, so look out for it! I've been trying a lot of new products and finding a lot of new favorites this month, especially in the skincare department. I'm excited to share some with you.

Skincare

Clinique Custom-Repair Serum: This serum is a great base for skincare. As I've been using it, it's been making my moisturizer go on smoother and my skin feel softer.
Ole Hendriksen Nurture Me Moisturizer: This is super soothing and super moisturizing. It's been keeping my skin very happy through the transition from cold to warm weather. It's also helped to get rid of some of the redness in my face.
e.l.f. Illuminating Eye Cream: This is really refreshing and pretty cheap for a well liked skincare product. It claims to reduce dark under eye circles, and I think it has helped with mine.

Makeup

Maybelline Color Sensational in Nude Lust: This is pretty much the perfect early spring shade. It's a great nude, really smooth, moisturizing texture. I've been wearing it almost every day, just to add a little something, but it's super subtle so I don't feel too done up all the time.
Clinique High Impact Mascara:  As someone who can't stand clumping, when it comes to eyelashes, this mascara is my new best friend. The brush on this is so thick, it lifts and separates lashes super well. The end result is voluminous, natural looking lashes. I am a big fan.

Fashion

Old Navy Boyfriend Tees: I have pretty much lived in these t-shirts since I bought them at the beginning of the month. They are super comfortable and super simple, so they go with everything. I honestly think I've worn one every other day. It's great to have standard neutrals like the white and grey, but I'm glad I got the lavender shade as well. It's a fun color, especially this time of year. I find myself reaching for it when I want to wear something comfortable, but also want to look more dressed up than the simple t-shirt and jeans look.

Hexagon Stud Earrings:  I've also been using these earrings on a daily basis. They're super simple, and small so they don't get in the way or call attention to themselves.

Apps

Arcus weather app: This is a great weather app. It breaks down what the weather will be like by the hour. as well as the day. While it's not super accurate in the long term, it's great for finding out what the weather will be like throughout the day. As a student who walks around all day, I find it really useful, especially in helping me avoid those unexpected spring showers that pop up.

NPR One: I'm a big fan on NPR, I love all their programs, and listening to their newscasts is an easy way for me to stay up to date on what's going on in the world. NPR One is an app that works a lot like Pandora; it streams NPR programs and news based on my preferences. I've found lots of fun new podcasts to listen to from this app, and it's super easy to use.
