A Sister Missionary's Guide

About 3 (what!?!) years ago, I entered the MTC to start my mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was 19 years old, and it was the scariest, most exciting thing I had ever done. My mission was an amazing experience, and I loved (just about) every minute of it. I learned more about life, the gospel, and myself in 18 months than I'd learned in the previous 19 years of my life.

Before I left on my mission, I read every sister missionary blog, attended every panel, and asked any returned missionary I knew for advice. Aside from all the amazing spiritual guidance I got, I was so glad whenever someone told me about the more practical side of missionary life, like what I would really need to take with me, what the weather in South Carolina was going to be like, do I really need to be concerned about being chased by dogs etc.

So I've decided to create my own missionary guide, specifically for sister missionaries, and specifically about the things you can't learn from Preach My Gospel.  Here are the topics I'll be covering-
Clothes
Makeup
Hair
Living on a Missionary Budget
Food
Exercise
What to Pack

I hope that this will help all you who are preparing, or considering, serving a mission. Let me know if you have specific questions on any of the topics, or other things you'd like covered.
