Urban Decay Basics Palette

This was one of my Christmas presents, and I've really been liking playing around with it the past couple weeks. Urban Decay makes really great eyeshadows, and this palette has a really great variety of colors. They're also all matte, so they work really well for everyday looks.

Here are my three favorite looks I've created so far.

Grey smokey eye- Magnet on lid, Blackjack in crease
Grey and black can be really intimidating colors to work with, but these ones are buildable and blendable. I build up the black in the crease, depending on how dramatic I want to look.

Terra Cotta Brown- Extra Bitter on lid, Pre-game above lid, Faith in crease
This is a really rusty, brown look. It's a really great autumnal look. I use a lot of Extra Bitter, and then just a little of the two other colors to tone down the orange-ness. I also like to smudge a little bit of Extra Bitter underneath my eyes to tie the look together.

Rosy brown- Instinct on lid, Nudie above lid, Lethal in crease and outer corner of lid
One of the things I love most about this palette is the pinkish hues it has. The shade Lethal adds a smokey aspect. I put it in the crease, and on the outer corner of the lid to make it more smokey.
