New York 2017

A couple weeks ago we went on our annual trip to New York to visit my grandparents. It's something I look forward to every year. This year our trip was a little shorter than normal, because of my internship, but we had a great time while we were there.

The two big events of this trip were the ballet and, as always, the Yankee game. My mom, Josh, and I went to see ABT's Onegin. Before the ballet we had dinner across the street at The Smith, which was a nice restaurant that serves the kind of standard American food, including a lot of good seafood. The ballet itself was a based on a Russian romantic-era book; it was very dramatic and emotional. It was also the principal ballerina's last show with ABT, and it was fun to be there for that.

The Yankee game was fun as always. The game wasn't that great, the Yankees lost, but the weather was amazing so it was still a nice afternoon.

See you next year, New York!
