Thrift Store Makeover: Jean Dress

I found this amazing jean jumper dress when I was browsing our local Savers. I liked the fabric of the dress, as well as the shape of the dress. The only real problem I found was the length. I thought that shortening it a bit would make it feel more modern and fresh.

Waldo is not the most helpful sewing partner.

I wanted the dress to hit a couple inches below my knee. I measured the dress an inch longer than I wanted so I'd be able to make a hem. Then I marked the dress, cut it, and hemmed it.

It took me about half an hour, and I love how the dress turned out. I think this is going to be a great edition to my wardrobe.
